Working with us
Our management team of supervisors and workers are experienced and licensed professionals. Along with a thorough understanding of the demolition and asbestos and lead industry, each team specializes in a specific area. From the pre-construction meeting to permit application to final completion, each project is carefully planned and scheduled according to our client’s needs. 3. FIBER CONTROL PROGRAM Our Fiber Control Program was designed specifically for tradesmen to service routine mechanical problems or renovations in buildings, which contain asbestos materials. Now tradesmen can safely and efficiently work around asbestos and still get the job done. This program involves Turbo Group supplying personal protection and engineering controls with different stages of protection for tradesmen. This will allow you to open ceilings, pull wires, and service HVAC units with the reduced potential threat of contamination. Different stages of control measures are listed below, which provide you with different degrees of protection. The nature of work and asbestos-containing material present will dictate the proper stage to be utilized. Stage 1 Turbo Group will use localized HEPA vacuuming and HEPA filtration units to control any potential fallout. The intent is to maintain building air quality and to prevent exposure to building occupants. Stage 2 1. We will in this case place polyethylene sheeting on the floor under the work area and/or provide ceiling manifolds for work above the drop ceiling. 2. All personnel actively working with any removal operations shall also wear an approved air-purifying respirator. 3. The air handling system (HVAC) feeding that particular zone must be shut down or sealed. The HVAC unit should not be activated until final (post-sampling) air concentrations are reviewed and found acceptable. Temporary blanking or sealing of the system may be acceptable if approved by the Project Manager and the attending Industrial Hygienist. 4. Make available engineering controls (i.e., airborne levels). 5. All accumulations of wet cuttings, asbestos dusts or HEPA vacuum units shall clean up other debris and the area will be washed with water if necessary. 6. All debris shall be disposed of as contaminated in labeled 6-mil polyethylene bags. Stage 3 4. LEGAL FOLDER Turbo Group, Inc. provides our clients with all pertinent information needed to document the project. This will help to protect you from incurring any further liabilities related to the project.
